Devara: Part 1 is a visually stunning Telugu-language action drama directed by Kortala Siva. The film stars N.T. Rama Rao Jr. in a dual role as Devara and his son Vara, alongside Saif Ali Khan, Janhvi Kapoor, and Prakash Raj.
The story is set in the fictional coastal town of Erra Samudram (Red Sea), where four villages are notorious for their pirate operations. Devara, a selfless leader, discovers that his village and others are involved in smuggling deadly weapons. As he tries to put an end to these illicit activities, tensions rise between him and Bhaira, the head of a rival village.
The film boasts impressive production values, with standout performances by Jr NTR, Saif Ali Khan, and Janhvi Kapoor. Anirudh Ravichander's score adds to the film's intensity, making it a worthwhile watch despite some predictable plot developments.
